Revisional Double Eyelid Surgery
Revisional surgeries for the eyes are typically done in cases where there are problems with the previous surgery or when the patient is not satisfied with the outcome of it.
The frequent cases of revisional surgeries are asymmetry, falling of the double eyelid line, or eyelid lines that were previously done that doesn't look natural on the face. It is important to consult with an experienced surgeon to prevent another revisional surgery.
Revisional plastic surgery for the eyes can be done at least 6 months after if incisions were made and 3 months after if no incisions were made. The reason for the time frame is to wait to see the final outcome after the swelling is completely gone. The surgeon then can assess the problems correctly and plan the surgery accordingly.

Dr. Ko is a board certified surgeon who has more than a decade worth of experience in performing plastic surgeries. He has published four studies and is a clinical professor at Korea University Medical School. In addition, he regularly attends international medical and academic seminars to keep up with the ever evolving technologies in plastic surgery.
