Your Last Rhinoplasty Revision at Migo Plastic Surgery!

This being the last rhinoplasty revision, a more complicated procedure than the first rhinoplasty, decisions had to be made more carefully and cautiously. The reason to that is because clients may get results such as unexpected nose shape or the implant being too high, moving around, or even showing through. 

Generally, it is best when the procedure is executed 6 months after the first rhinoplasty when the tissues are softened and free from swelling. However, there are exceptions. Depending on the client, they can undergo the procedure 3 months after the first. If there's contracture, inflammation, or bleeding, they are advised to speak to the specialist to proceed with further adjustments before more complications arise.

Inflammation and contracture being some of the many reasons to why clients endure the arduous procedure, it is crucial to consult an experienced specialist to pin point why the procedure is necessary. 

For instance, if the clients' nose looks crooked, they proceed by removing the previous implant, securing the area in which the new implant is going to be inserted, and making sure that it is aligned with the bridge of the nose when inserting in order to complete a straight nose. 



Contracture due to implants is a side effect caused by an infection on the inside of the nose. First, they remove the infection. Then they remove the silicon film formed around the implant. In short nose cases, other nasal parts are used to retrieve the original nose structure.
