This series of blogposts of Patient Diary shows pictures of the recovery progress of a patient who had a revisional double eyelid (incisional) procedure with epicanthoplasty, ptosis correction, and rhinoplasty with silicone implant. In addition to these procedures, she also had lower lid fat graft to lighten up the dark circles. The surgery featured in this post was performed by Dr. Kang Euntaek, and Dr. Ko Hanwoong.
<Before>
The patient had double eyelid procedure before. However, she hasn't quite achieved the look she had hoped for. The eyelid covers the eyelid excessively, which creates a sleepy appearance. There is excessive space between the eyes. Despite having had double eyelid procedure, the eyes still remain small. To solve this problem, Dr. Ko Hanwoong recommended ptosis correction to lift the upper eyelids, epicanthoplasty to open the eyes horizontally while making the space between them less distant, and incisional double eyelid procedure to create a definite, and lasting change. Dr. Kang Euntaek has recommended rhinoplasty procedure with silicone implant to make the profile more pronounced.
<4 Months Later>
It is important to take good care up to 3 to 4 months after the surgery, because the shape at that point is going to last more or less permanently. From this point on, recovery will slow down.
