[Breast:Mammoplasty] Surgical Methods for Breast Reduction

Excessively large breasts can cause problems such as chronic back, neck and shoulder pain, restricted activity, and difficulty fitting into bras and clothing. Even though surgical improvements can be made at any age, it is best to wait until the breasts are fully developed. You may also postpone breast reduction surgery until your family is complete. Changes to breast tissue during or after pregnancy can affect the surgical results. Breastfeeding may also be a challenge after breast reduction surgery.

T-shaped Incisional Method This procedure only leaves a vertical scar along the bottom line of the breast, which diminishes over time. It is one of conventional breast reduction methods.

O-shaped Incisional Method Also being a conventional method, that is done through an "O" shaped incision. It is suitable for patients who has the large and severely saggy breasts.
