Deviated nose is a symptom that needs to be corrected, not only because of the way it looks, but more so for the discomfort it causes, and the difficulties that come with it.
Deviated nose is often caused by external injury, or form congenitally. The problem with deviated nose is that frequently the nasal septum is also deviated, so it causes difficulty in breathing.
At Migo, we use 3D-CT imaging system before surgery for safer, and successful results. 3D CT imaging allows the surgeon to plan the procedure precisely based on information obtained from 3D imaging, and see the symptoms more clearly by being able to observe the nasal bones, nasal septum inside the nose. It also emits 1/50th of radiation compared to other existing CT imaging systems.
The surgical method differs by the severity of deviation. For patients with slight deviation of the
nose, the deviated part is cut, corrected and fixed on to the right place.
When the deviation is severe, the septum is reshaped to correct the asymmetry.
