[Patient Diary] Breast Augmentation with Low Profile Cohesive Gel Implants (4 Months Later)

 In this series of Patient Diary, we're going to share the experience of a patient who had breast augmentation using low profile cohesive-gel implants. The surgery was performed by Dr. Yoon Wonjune. This post will share the pictures of the patient taken before, and 4 months after the surgery.

Choosing high profile implants for patients with small breasts can make the outcome to appear too contrived. With this patient, Dr. Yoon has suggested low profile cohesive gel implants for natural looking result, which was what the patient was looking for.

<4 Months Later>

 

 

 

Even though the implants are low profile, they create realistic looking cleavage.

 

Unless special exceptions need to be made, Dr. Yoon Wonjune makes the incisions for breast augmentation procedures on the armpits. Because of this, there are no visible scars on the breasts. Although differs by individual, the scars usually heal by 6 months. Dr. Yoon writes prescription for scar thinning oinment that accelerate the healing process.
