[Patient Diary] Facial Contouring, Double Eyelid, and Rhinoplasty

This series of blogposts of Patient Diary shows pictures of the recovery progress of a  patient who had a facial countring, double eyelid, and rhinoplasty procedure. This post will present pictures of the patient on the day of the surgery. The surgery featured in this post was performed by Dr. Kang Euntaek, and Dr. Ko Hanwoong.

<Before>

This patient had very low self esteem due to small eyes, small nose with low nose bridge and wide, square shaped jaws. After having considered for a long time, she decided to go for a whole face makeover at Migo.

 Our coordinator recommended her to have 3D-CT image taken to to enable correct analysis of the bone structure.

 After having taken the 3D-CT image, Dr. Kang, responsible for rhinoplasty and facial contouring, designed the face according to the outcome that the patient wanted, and what he could do with the patient's bone structure to meet her needs.

Facial contouring is a procedure that involves osteotomy. It requires meticulous care after the surgery.  The patient can only have drinkable meal for some time.

<One Week After the Surgery>

She was surprised the swollenness had subsided earlier than expected. The elastic bandage around her face is for the purpose of preventing sagging of the cheeks. It also helps reducing swelling faster.

<Three Week After the Surgery>

She was surpised the swollenness had gone away so soon. None of her friends recognized her, and they were impressed with the change they saw in her appearance.

<One Month After the Surgery>

The swollenness has gone a lot. She is very grateful to the work of our surgeons.
