[Eyes:Blepharoplasty] Pre Operative Care Tips for Epicanthoplasty Procedures

Patented epicanthoplasty  at Migo is an entirely distinct procedure from other existing epicanthoplasty procedures  due to the design and the location of the incisional lines.  The procedure enables leaving minimal to no scars while bringing maximum desired effects, which left many of our clients satisfied. While it renders visible effect, the surgical procedure is very demanding, and takes as much effort and time as incisional double eyelid surgery. The surgery process may differ depending on the patients' condition.  Following the instructions given will facilitate the process for the surgeon as well as the patient.  

<Before the Surgery>

• Avoid drinking before surgery.

• Notify the surgeon if you have any type of eye disease.

• Let the surgeon know if there's any allergy, or sensitivity to medication. Also communicate if you are currently suffering from any disease, and/or if you've been hospitalized in the past.

<Surgery Day>

• Have a light meal three hours prior to the surgery.

• Bring a container for contact lenses in case you wear them

• Arrive at clinic with a clean face without any makeup.

• Bring shades and wide brimmed hat to wear when being discharged.

• Remove nail polish before arriving.

• Do not bring any valuables.

Epicanthoplasty procedures at Migo are performed by Dr. Ko Hanwoong. Dr. Ko will consult the patient one by one, and determine the shape and design that will complement and enhance the rest of the face, as well as the best suited surgical method for each individual patient. He is a board certified surgeon with +10 years of experience in performing plastic surgeries. He has published four studies, and is a clinical professor at Korea University Medical School. Dr. Ko regularly attends international medical and academic seminars to keep up with the ever evolving technologies in plastic surgery.
