[Patient Diary] Revisional Rhinoplasty (4 Days Later)
In this series of blogposts of Patient Diary, we're going to share the recovery progress of a patient who had revisional rhinoplasty. Her problem was that the shape of implant material was showing through the skin. This post will present pictures of the patient before and right after, and four days after the surgery.
<Right After the Surgery>
Due to a misplaced implant from a previous surgery, this patient was suffering from the shape of the implant showing through due to thinning skin. This is quite a common problem among the patient who got surgery by inexperienced surgeons.
<4 Days Later>
Revisional rhinoplasty surgeries is one of the surgery procedures that takes the longest to totally heal (up to 1 year). Antibacterial gauze is placed on the nose for up to 5 days.
