[Patient Diary] Revisional Rhinoplasty (2 Months Later)
In this series of blogposts of Patient Diary, we're going to share the recovery progress of a patient who had revisional rhinoplasty. Her problem was that the shape of implant material was showing through the skin. This post will present pictures of the patient before, and five months after the surgery.
<Before>
The concerns this patient had was that the shape of implant material was showing through the skin. Also the angle of the nose was too upturned, the nostrils are showing when being looked at from the front.
<Two Months Later>
The implant material is not showing, the nose doesn't look upturned anymore and is in perfect balance with the rest of the face.
The revisional rhinoplasty procedure featured in this post was
performed by Dr. Kang Euntaek at Migo Clinic. Dr. Kang is a board certified plastic surgeon,
who has extensive experience in plastic surgery from having performed
more than hundreds of surgeries. He has a published study, titled " Corrective
Rhinoplasty for Deviated Nose a new Osteotomy Technique" , and has
collaborated on many academic and medical articles. Dr.
Kang is currently an adjunct professor in the department of
plastic surgery at Ewha Women's University Medical Center.
