[Non-Surgical Procedures] Shurink Facelift

Shurink facelift is a visibly effective non surgical procedure that uses ultrasonic technology. The high intensity ultrasound firms the skin from deeper layers without causing bruising or swelling by penetrating into  fascial muscle layer located underneath the subcutaneous layer and strengthening it. Shurink technology can reach the deeper layers of the skin that other lasers can't.

The high intensity ultrasound will affect the targeted area at the exact depth of the skin to maximize the lifting effect. The principle of this technology is based on wound healing. The treated area creates coagulation caused by heat, and the lifting and firming of the skin happens in an effort to heal from the inflmmation caused by the heat and coagulation. Unlike the damage caused by accidental burns, the heat used in this procedure is carefully and evenly applied to the skin to achieve optimal results. The firming and lifting effect is happening from fascial muscle and deeper layer of the skin, so it is long lasting .

Non-surgical Shurink facelift procedures are performed by Dr. Ko Hanwoong. Dr. Ko will consult the patient one by one, and determine the best suited treatment method for each individual patient. He is a board certified surgeon with +10 years of experience in performing plastic surgeries. He has published four studies, and is a clinical professor at Korea University Medical School. Dr. Ko regularly attends international medical and academic seminars to keep up with the ever evolving technologies in plastic surgery.
