[Eyes:Blepharoplasty] Alert, and Defined Eyes with Patented Epicanthoplasty
Epicanthoplasty is a type of eye surgery procedure to remove the epicanthal fold, otherwise known as Mongolian fold, which covers the inner corner of the eyes. Mongolian folds make the eyes to appear short horizontally, cross-eyed and widely spaced. Epicanthoplasty can be used to correct these symptoms, and horizontally lengthen the eyes to make them appear bigger, and give them a more opened, alert appearance.
Care, and caution should be given when choosing a surgeon for epicanthoplasty, because the area where epicanthal folds are located is very delicate where tear drainage canals are located. Performed by an unskilled surgeon, it also may leave visible post-surgery scar lines.
Instead of making the incision directly through the epicanthal fold, patented epicanthoplasty at Migo redistributes the skin on the epicanthal fold to minimize the scarring.
You may consider Epicanthoplasty if you:
have dull looking eyes due to epicanthal (Mongolian) fold
have the space between the eyes too wide
were suggested not to get double eyelid surgery due to the epicanthal fold
didn't see a satisfactory result with previous epicanthoplasty procedure
want to have more defined shape of eyes without visible scarring
No scarring and fast recovery, Magic Epicanthoplasty is a registered patented surgical procedure developed by Migo's surgeons.
Epicanthoplasty at Migo is done by Dr. Ko Hanwoong. Dr. Ko's specialty is blepharoplasty (upper/lower), and V-line lifting.
