[Migo in Media] The Importance of Safe Surgery Procedures (KBS)

Client K was a TV program in South Korea from KBS that offered legal advice for the people who wrote to the program seeking one.

On the 47th episode of the show, they picked a case of a young woman who suffered from the side effects caused by a plastic surgery procedure (breast augmentation) gone wrong.

The failed surgery had brought a severe depression and sociophobia to the young woman. She has moved away from a big city to a rural area, because she didn't want to see people around. Even after moving, she has locked herself in the house and never stepped out of it.

The victim had suffered the aftereffects of the failed surgery for five years. It was very clear to see that her breasts were in asymmetry. Her breast on the left side was misplaced after the surgery, way above where it should have been.

She had sent a diagnosis to the hospital that caused the problem, stating the failure of the surgery. The hospital never apologized, let alone paying for the compensation.

The program visited Dr. Yoon Won June at Migo with the young lady to get a correct diagnosis.

Turns out, the lady had two surgeries that gone wrong previously. Dr. Yoon had explained that revisional surgeries can be more complicated.

This is an example that shows why it is important to find the right surgeon and a responsible clinic when one decides to have a plastic surgery procedure. Some people choose clinics based on costs out of desperation. It may seem as though one maybe saving some money, but it's actually costing more, not only financially, but in many other ways.

Our surgeons at Migo always place the highest priority in safety. Our clinic had no medical accident in the last 18 years. This is thanks to the meticulous care our surgeons put into each procedure.

The consultation and diagnosis on the 47th episode of Client K by KBS was done by Dr. Yoon Won June.
