Lower lid fat redistribution procedures remove, or redistribute the fat deposit on the lower lid for patients who have severe dark circles around the eyes that create tired appearance.

Surgical method for lower lid blepharoplasty by concerns:


Case 1: Saggy lower lid with excessive fat deposit


Sagged and protruded parts are evened out by removing the fat deposit through conjunctiva.








Case 2: Severe dark circles with no protrusion and sagging


Lacrimal groove ligament is separated to strengthen the orbital septum.







Case 3: Lacrimal groove with fat deposits


Protruded fat deposits are pushed downward to even out the lower lid area. 
1. Before the surgery : The area looks dark and shaded
2. The area to be operated is approached via conjunctiva
3. Minimal amount of conjunctiva is incised to remove and redistribute the lower lid fat deposit
4. After the surgery: The lower lid now looks brighter and firmer
